Historical NotesNASA nameplate that identified Jay Apt’s office in the Astronaut office area in Building 4 at Johnson Space Center. Used from 1985-1989. Astronauts were assigned offices shared with five to seven astronauts. After a crew was named to a Space Shuttle mission, offices were reconfigured so the crew was in one office or occasionally two adjacent offices.
