DescriptionPlunger type dynamite cap blasting machine. Housed in a red-painted dovetailed oak box; front and rear sides held together with screws. Two embossed nameplates nailed to front, with instructions and trademark. Leather carrying strap attached with screws. Top of box has two large brass terminals in front, with brass wing nuts. Plunger handle of turned wood, attached to a square metal rod, one side having teeth which mesh with an internal gear; plunger ratchets free on lift stroke, down drives commutator for electrical discharge.Dimensions18 x 6.5 x 8.125 in.
