Historical NotesSTS-79 commemorative plate presented to Jay Apt at Kennedy Space Center November 14, 1996, during the crew’s post-flight visit to KSC that included honoring KSC contractors and civil servants who had made exceptional contributions to the mission. Each crewmember received a similar plate.
