Blue identifies Mission Specialist 1, Jay Apt on STS-79.Label TextFlown objects from STS-79, 1996: Name badge and Mission patch from STS-79 Beef jerky and Stelutsa dessert (Russian) packets Fork, knife, teaspoon, and tablespoon Personal items, shampoo, comb, brush, toothbrush, Crest toothpaste deodorant, chap stick, nail clippers, clips, glasses, case, and eyewear container, used by Jay Apt aboard STS-79 Apt’s fourth and final mission, STS-79 on the Space Shuttle Atlantis, included docking with the Russian space station Mir to deliver equipment, supplies and relief personnel. Notice the Velcro on these flown objects designed to keep them tethered in the weightlessness of space.
