Historical NotesThis china was manufactured as a premium for Westinghouse refrigerators in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Hall made these “refrigerator dishes” for many other refrigerator retailers as well. This was a fairly new appliance and the dishes could be used to store perishables and leftovers. They were given as a premium when someone bought a refrigerator and could be purchased later as well.
