Historical NotesPair of gloves worn at the Cinderella Ball. Cinderella Ball is Pittsburgh society’s debutante ball, which has been held virtually every year between 1924 and 2011. At the Cinderella Ball young ladies are presented to society on the arms of their fathers in age-old traditional cotillion style. This Ball is the oldest charity event in Pittsburgh and the second oldest debutante ball in America.
