Historical NotesA German gastroscope retailed by Feick Bros. of Oakland (a regional medical supply company). Part of a collection of items related to Murray Sachs' (the donor's) training and career in medicine, as well as objects collected by the donor and displayed in his office at Shadyside Hospital. These objects document the donor's personal life, his career in medicine, Pittsburgh's health care history, and also the doctor's personal collection of medical artifacts.
