Historical NotesMars High School banner from 1926. The donor William J. Mehaffey's parents attended Mars High School and graduated in 1926. Mars High School had been built in 1918, on Crowe Avenue. The Mehaffey family were longtime residents of the area and continued to be involved in the local community after they graduated.
