Descriptionet of iron restraints. May be shackles or animal hobbles. Each end has a u-shaped cuff connected by an iron chain. Metal is corroded and rusted. Screw on side of each cuff is rusted into place and no longer moves.Dimensions5.25 x 1.125 x 30.8749 in. (13.3 x 2.9 x 78.4 cm)
Historical NotesThe restraints were purchased by the donor, Andrew E. Masich, at an auction in Kentucky. No provenance came with the object. Most likely they were used for some type of animal.
