Historical NotesA promotional scarf from the H.J. Heinz Company. Ralph J. Boles (born 1927) received the scarf as a "give-away" at one of the Heinz Company's annual employee dinners. Born and raised in the Troy Hill area, Boles worked at Heinz's North Side plant for nearly 35 years. He was an officer in his union (Canning and Pickle Workers Union-325) and was also active in the nearby Teutonia Männerchor (see notes}.
