Historical NotesAccording to donor Jim Glick, who was an executive (secretary-treasurer) for the company, he painted this object to resemble a Harmony Short Line bus. Jim Glick's father, R. Morris Glick, worked for Harmony Short Line from c. 1919 until the company ceased service in 1961. Harmony ran routes across western Pennsylvania and the tri-state area and was the charter company for many of the local universities and sports teams, including the Pittsburgh Hornets.
