Historical NotesDonor served 28 years as a Pittsburgh Police officer before retiring. He was on the television show 'Cops" 2/2/1991. Donor received the Meritorious Service medal in 1981. He was on scene at 7 bank robberies in 3 days. The last one ended in a shooting; another cop and a civilian were shot; the gunman tried to shoot the donor at close range but his gun misfired. The robberies occurred from Monday to Wednesday (April 12th 1989).
