Historical NotesThis bathing suit was worn by Anna Mae Gorman Lindberg during the 1932 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the US Olympic Swim Team.Label TextNote the sheer texture of Anna Mae Gorman’s swimsuit. After serving as an alternate for the 1932 Olympic team, Gorman continued to compete as a member of the Homestead relay team, which was undefeated in America from 1931-34. Only illness kept her from a place on the 1936 team.
