Rounded rim follows a step-like pattern, with patterns of bubbles and star bursts etched on the body; large star burst on base. Both handles also have bubble pattern on top for grip.Dimensions3 x 6.5 x 4 x 16 in. (7.6 x 16.5 x 10.2 x 40.6 cm)Historical NotesA pressed glass sugar bowl in the "States Pattern" (pattern line number 15,093) made by the U.S. Glass Company, c. 1905, and illustrated in a Butler Brothers catalog in 1910. This piece illustrates the huge variety of pattern glass tableware being produced in the region in the early 20th century and the use of pressed glass patterns to mimic the more expensive hand-cut brilliant glass patterns of the period.
