Historical NotesA pressed glass sugar bowl in the "States Pattern" (pattern line number 15,093) made by the U.S. Glass Company, c. 1905, and illustrated in a Butler Brothers catalog in 1910. This piece illustrates the huge variety of pattern glass tableware being produced in the region in the early 20th century and the use of pressed glass patterns to mimic the more expensive hand-cut brilliant glass patterns of the period.
