Embossed maker's mark on back in bottom left quadrant with design consisting of a circle with a blacksmith/metal forger at center and "90" to his proper left, forger is surrounded by circle with text around its perimeter "WENDELL AUGUST FORGE", and additional text around the exterior perimeter of the circle "HANDMADE GROVE CITY, PA. BERLIN, OH."
To the right of the maker's mark is text "SOLID BRONZE" above a Y-shape.

Underside of base has circular plastic sticker with black text "WENDELL AUGUST FORGE" around the perimeter and a blacksmith/metal forger at center with a "K" on the anvil.
