Historical NotesUnited States Air Force (unofficial) Party Suit, or flight suit, worn at casual on-base gatherings. This casual outfit was worn by donor Mary Jeanne Flaherty while she served at Kunsan Air Base in South Korea (February 1974 to June 1974); the party suit was locally made, and was loosely based on the Air Force flight suit. Ms. Flaherty at that time held the rank of captain (USAF), and served as commander of the 3rd security police squadron at Kunsan; the suit was non-regulation and worn only for on-base activities.
