Historical NotesThese spectacles belonged to Harry Schreiber. In 1934, brothers Harry Schreiber and Samuel Schreiber, sons of Russian Jewish immigrants, opened Schreiber Trucking Company Inc. The company thrived under the leadership of Samuel and Marian Syna Schreiber, Harry Schreiber’s widow. In the early 1950s, Marian married William Rosenberg and opened Wilton Storage Company which was later run by Sidney Allen Schreiber, Harry and Marian’s son.
