Historical NotesCannonballs were transferred from the Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey. Items were shipped to the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania in July 1974. According to the decontamination tag, the cannonballs are from the Civil War, were never used, and had been stored underwater. They contain black powder but are classified as having no restriction. Found in collection.
