Historical NotesCobalt blue vase made by Kopp Glass. Nicolas Kopp worked for Consolidated Glass Company in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, as their "color man," creating the remarkable colors that Consolidated is known for. Eventually, Kopp left to form his own company, Kopp Glass Incorporated. Inspired by Consolidated's Ruba Rombic line, he created "Modernistic," part of his own imaginative Art Deco line. This piece illustrates the vibrant colors of the glass, which mimicked the palette of cubist art.Label TextThis is another piece in the Kopp line, illustrating the vibrant colors of the glass which mimicked the palette of cubist art.
