Historical NotesObject related to John "Jack" Helffrich, the official scorer for North Allegheny High School wrestling for many years, spanning the 1950s and into the 1990s. Dan Gabel is an American freestyle wrestler who is often considered to be the greatest amateur wrestler in American history. During the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, he won the gold medal despite suffering from a painful knee injury. In fact, Gable did not surrender a single point at the Games.
