Historical NotesBrass knuckles owned by donor Gerald Price's grandfather Peter Grillo, who claimed to use the iron knuckles as a means of defense against the Italian Mafia, which ran most of the Mon Valley during his time. Part of a collection of items related to donor Gerald Price's Italian-American family, one of the earliest to settle in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania.
