(91.4 x 73.7 x 81.3 cm)Historical NotesWestinghouse Light and Power Plant; Type AC1 Model 88 generator. This generator was built at the East Pittsburgh plant in the 1920s. It ran on kerosene and could deliver direct current wherever it was needed. The generator was found in the hills of West Virginia and was restored to next-to-original condition. Donated to the George Westinghouse Museum by D.C. Burnham, transferred to the Heinz History Center in 2007.
