MarksBrown scallop-shaped stamp on bottom of plate consists of the entwined letters "ELP CO" above the words "WACO CHINA".
Historical NotesLorch's was one of the largest retail spaces built along Carson Street before the development of the South Side Works. Lorch's was built to house the George E. Lorch and Brother department store in the mid-1890s (1896). They also rented apartments in the upper floors of the building.
