Historical NotesThis item was owned and worn by Vera T. Emminger Kanary in the 1920s or early 1930s. She was born on January 31, 1912, and died on November 2, 1988. Vera worked at Boggs & Buhl after graduating from Perry High School. Following this she worked at Mellon Bank. The donor Carol Braun Kunz has a photograph of her aunt wearing the dress. Vera T. Emminger Kanary is the aunt of donor Carol Braun Kunz.
