DescriptionFramed watercolor. Rectangular white paper watercolor painting. Painting has three bust portraits of women along the bottom. Above the women is a boat-shaped brown basket with a tree growing out of center. Above the basket are green agricultural fields with various types of crops growing. Rainbow stripes flank the fields on left and right. Five hidden faces are in the crop area. Multicolored sunset sky at top with numerous hidden faces. Artist signature painted in white in bottom left corner "WiLL ESPEY". Impressed maker's mark also in bottom left corner overlapping with artist signature.
Brown wood frame with glass glazing. Painting is mounted on top of a light green mat board. Back of frame is covered in brown paper. Four rectangular thin pieces of bark(?) or painted bark/paper on the back, one in each corner. The bark piece in the bottom left corner serves as a pocket holding a sachet of an unknown substance with a faint scent. The sachet is white fabric tied with yellow, red, black, and white yarn.
