MarksMolded text on front in brown glaze: "PG AND E" in box above "DIABLO CANYON / OPERATOR TRAINING SIMULATOR" with image in box and "JANUARY / 1982" to the left, "JULY / 1984" to right, and Westinghouse logo and "WESTINGHOUSE" below.
Historical NotesTransferred to the Heinz History Center when the George Westinghouse Museum closed in 2007. The Diablo Canyon Power Plant is located in San Luis Obispo County, California and provides electricity for more than 3.0 million northern and central California homes. Opened in 1985 with a Westinghouse Pressurized-Water Reactor. It is operated by the Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
