Historical NotesDonor Carolyn Wilson wore this Girl Scout uniform as part of Troop 57 based out of Waverly Presbyterian Church on the corner of Braddock and Forbes in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. She joined the Scouts in 1952, when she was in 5th grade and continued in the program for several years, receiving her Curved Bar, which was the highest honor for a Girl Scout (from 1940-1963). She grew up on Richland Avenue off of Penn Avenue and attended Park Place School on Braddock Avenue.
