Historical NotesDonor Julene Matthews' father visited Pittsburgh in 1959 on a business trip from Australia. He liked to keep souvenirs of his favorite places, and, in Pittsburgh, that place was Klein's Restaurant. He frequently talked about the wonderful lobster dinner he had at Klein's and had saved a menu, bibs, coasters, and seafood forks. Klein's was a popular seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They had many locations, but the one most people remember was on Fourth Avenue, which opened in 1935 and closed in 1992. There is now a Union National Bank parking lot at that location.
