Historical NotesThis painting was donated by Phil Salvato, who was a friend and student of the artist Abbott Ross. Ross worked in New York & Chicago before moving to Pittsburgh in the 1950's. He taught at the New Kensington YMCA, the Art Institute, and the Sweetwater Art Center.
