Historical NotesHair wreath made by Cecelia Mayer Schorr for her hope chest when she was sixteen in 1881. Cecelia was the 11th child of Catherine Decker Mayer and Casper Peter Mayer. According to a family member, the two wax hands are possibly from a wedding cake decoration.
