Historical NotesPart of a collection related to the Pazzynski/Onyshko families. Cabbage cutter descended from donor Tyna Kaltenbaugh’s mother, Ann Pazzynski’s family. Her parents Washil Onyshko and Ann Wityk Onyshko were both from the Ukraine and settled in the Woods Run area of Pittsburgh. Washil made the family’s food preparation items in order to make sauerkraut. The donor also used the items to make sauerkraut from her home.
