Historical NotesHeads Together was an iconic shop in the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh that closed in 2012. In its heyday, the store reportedly sold hash pipes, LPs, and waterbeds. This landmark was open more than 30 years, moving around Murray Avenue as a video rental store, getting smaller and smaller, and eventually sharing space with Jerry's Records. Part of a collection belonging to Bernie Burns. The collection documents Firefighters Local No. 1, the firefighting union of which Bernie Burns was the president; his life as a firefighter; and additional items that document growing up in Lawrenceville in the 1960s and 1970s.
