Historical NotesPart of a collection belonging to civil and women's rights activist Daisy Lampkin. The trophy was awarded to Daisy Lampkin by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in recognition of her achievements in the fight for civil rights. Lampkin was the Vice President of the Pittsburgh Courier, national field secretary for the NAACP, influential member of the National Council of Negro Women, and, for 40 years, President of the Lucy Stone League.
