DescriptionBox of stone lithic flakes excavated from Meadowcroft Rockshelter. Box 2 of 2. Clamshell cardboard box containing 244 off-white and pink rectangular paper punched cards. Each punched card has a lithic flake inside of a plastic sleeve that is stapled to the card.DimensionsDimensions of box: Width 8.5, Length 14.688, Depth 3.5;Dimensions of each card: Height 3.25, Width 7.375, Depth varies according to size of lithic flake.
InscriptionsCardboard box has handwritten text on front "36WH297 #2 / MEADOWCROFT / FLAKES / Box 2" and top "AUG-468".
Each punched card has handwritten graphite notes in the top left and top right corner including a numbering system and other archaeological notes; some are also notated on the reverse. Some of the plastic bags have additional notes on/in them.
The lithic flakes are marked with either white paint and black ink or just black ink.
