Historical NotesSquirt glass bottle bottled by Squirt Bottling Company. Squirt was not a local company, but did have a branch in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bottle bears the Glenshaw glass mark of a "G" in a square, first used by Glenshaw in 1932. Glenshaw Glass Company later became part of the Anchor Glass Container Corporation, but then was bought by Consumers Packaging Inc, of Toronto, Canada. The Glenshaw plant was closed in November of 2004. In 2007, the Glenshaw glass plant re-opened after extensive renovation and re-organization, and is now producing glass containers and other ware under the name Kelman Bottles, LLC (founded 2008).
