Historical NotesMade in 1973 for the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh by several of its female congregants. Commemorative quilt made to celebrate the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh’s bicentennial in 1973. The quilt is designed with various-sized velvet patches. Some are embroidered or appliquéd with designs that reflect the church’s activities, committees, and history. The quilt hung inside the church on Sixth Avenue for several years.
