DescriptionBlack and gold mantel clock with a rectangular base and four round feet, four pillars supporting a rectangular top, and a clock face centered between the two front pillars and surrounded by floral detailing. The front of the base features gold colored detailing. The base and top of the pillars are colored gold. The clock face features black roman numerals and has one hand. Above the clock face on the wood are two screws protruding from the face of the wood. Dimensions20 x 10.375 x 5.875 in. (50.8 x 26.4 x 14.9 cm)InscriptionsThe top of the clock structure has a card attached with illegible writing.
Historical NotesDonated by Henry King Siebeneck. Supposedly survived the great Pittsburgh fire of 1845. Found in collection.
