Historical NotesThe casting was made by Frank VIttor. The full size bronze version is in Schenley Park. Frank Vittor, born in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1906 as a protege of architect Stanford White. After settling in Pittsburgh, Vittor became a sculptor of national recognition.
