Historical NotesWestinghouse hat worn by the donor Loine Dent's father, Thompson Smith Dent, to demonstrate Westinghouse products in local department stores. Dent worked out of the Wheeling office and sold in West Virginia, Ohio, and parts of Kentucky. He started out as an appliance wholesale salesman in 1946, and then moved to hardware sales, leaving the company in 1956.
