Historical NotesWestinghouse Melmac Disney plate. According to donor Ed Reis, the Westinghouse Melmac Disney items came about to fill unused capacity in a new Westinghouse plastic plant at the time. There is also a 1940s Westinghouse ad that says they made them by the millions.
