Historical NotesEzzard Charles wore these boxing trunks in his 1951 heavyweight championship boxing match against Jersey Joe Walcott held at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh. More than 28,000 fans watched as Walcott scored a seventh round knockout in what Ring Magazine called the fight of the year.
