Historical NotesBorn near Connellsville to Hungarian immigrant parents, Anna Hertznell spent her early life in the coal patch town of Trotter. After her marriage to Stephen Toth, Sr., she undertook the domestic role at the family homes in Whitsett and Bobtown. Anna used this handmade apron throughout her life.
