DescriptionPin commemorating the Rooney Family's Lewis and Clark expedition. The pin is mounted on a rectangular paper card. The oval bronze-tone metal pin has a relief of Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea in a landscape with text below; back has a clutch fastener. Paper card is light gray with purple-red illustration of Lewis and Clark and woman in a landscape at top with text below and along sides. Two signatures are handwritten in black ink along sides.Dimensions3.125 x 4.063 x 0.625 in. (7.9 x 10.3 x 1.6 cm)
InscriptionsThe pin has text along the bottom "Lewis & Clark / Rooney Corps of Rediscovery".

Paper card has text at center "Rooney Corps of Rediscovery / Thank you for all your help.", at bottom "We hope you will continue to enjoy / "Lewis & Clark. Great Journey West" ", at left "Captain Merriweather [sic] Lewis / Art Rooney", and at right "Captain William Clark / Dan Rooney"; the "Art Rooney" and "Dan Rooney" are handwritten signatures in black ink.
