Historical NotesWorn by member of the North Side Sokol lodge, given to donor Joseph Bielecki because the elderly female wearer was no longer active in the Sokol. This style of uniform was used c. 1968-1995; after 1995, all Sokol lodges began wearing a uniform regulated by their national governing body, Sokol USA. According to Bielecki, the black shorts (Part c) may have been a "work out" or "practice" pair, whereas the blue shorts (Part b) were worn during slets, or performances. The babushka (Part f) would have been worn during specific routines during a slet.
