BiographyRauh Brothers & Company was started by Enoch Rauh and his four brothers. The company started as a wholesale men's clothing business on Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh. As the business grew, it moved to 800 Liberty Avenue and later 951 Penn Avenue. By 1886, the business emplyed more than 100 people. Eventually the business included a branch office in New York and covered territory stretching into Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
