Norman B. Richardsondied 1936
Norman B. Richardson co-owned the Seventh Avenue Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 1907 to 1917 and became the sole proprietor from 1917 to 1929. Born in Somerset County in 1862, he spent many years in the hotel business all over the country. In 1882, Richardson was employed as a clerk at the Monongahela House and moved up to management by 1900. He maintained a residence in the Seventh Avenue Hotel and a country residence (Ednor Place) near his birthplace in Somerset County. He died in 1936.
