George W. McCandless

George McCandless of Squirrel Hill was the Treasurer of the McConway & Torley Company of Pittsburgh and involved in city politics in the early 20th century. He served briefly as the Director of the Public Safety Department under Mayor William A. Magee. He was married to Estella (Loomis) McCandless.
