Catherine Siegrist Hetzel
BiographyCatherine siegrist Hetzel was the wife of George Hetzel, Sr. and the mother of artist George Hetzel, Jr. In 1828 Catherine sailed to America from Bremerhaven, Germany with her husband and son. They eventually settled in Allegheny City, where George Hetzel, Sr. worked as a tailor.
