Spicer Youth Forum

The Spicer Youth Forum was founded by Mrs. Mamie H. Wadkins and Mr. Jimmy Wadkins in 1945 to develop “high school and college young people in character, individual talent, physical fitness, and acquisition of information on problems of social and civic affairs.” The Forum had a uniform with blue and white colors and emblems on it. The emblems on the sweater were registered in Harrisburg. A good number of the Forum students have become lawyers, teachers, ministers, doctors, and judges.
